It affected them on a bad way because basically the acts were “taxation without representation” for British goods and they had to pay a tax in order to get these goods and it didn’t make sense to the colonists(hope you understand!)

Explain how the Indian Removal Act (1830) relates to manifest destiny??????
OLEGan [10]

Manifest destiny was the idea that white European settlers had the God-given right to settle as much land as they needed.

Basically, Americans used manifest destiny to justify their settlement of the West, believing that America should stretch from coast to coast.

The Indian Removal Act was, in their minds necessary, because it was their land and so anybody who was previously settled on that land needed to leave.

Based on this information explain why did texas not join the union until 1873
Eduardwww [97]

Answer:

1. Northerners dislike of slavery

2. Mexico Territory

Explanation:

Texas did not join the union because if it did it would be considered a slave state. Northerners did not like slavery while Southern powers believed that it could become part of the other 10 slavery states.

The second reason was that Texas was still territory of Mexico. Texas joining the union would create a crisis of diplomatic proportions and even war.
