Answer:

The correct answer is B. The Spartan leader that drafted sets of laws creating full dedication to the state by the people, and helped create the military state was Lycurgus.

Explanation:

Lycurgus was a legislator of Sparta, about which it has been discussed, since Antiquity, what was the historical moment in which he lived; It is not even clear whether he was really a historical figure. There have been assigned chronologies that go from the 12th century BC until the year 600 BC, but prevails the opinion that the most likely dates are the 7th century BC and the 9th century BC. He established the reform of Spartan society in accordance with the Oracle of Delphi. Much of the constitution of Sparta is attributed to him.

Based on what you have read, explain the key differences in the views of Hobbes and Locke on the social contract.
AleksAgata [21]
The most basic difference lies in their view of human nature. For Hobbes, humans are eager of power and under the state of nature we tend to kill each other. For this reason, we need a social contract (in order to survive). For Locke, the state of nature is not as pessimistic as Hobbes. We can colaborate, but the problem is in property. Locke wrote something like when we have issues of who is the owner of what (specially under scarcity) we need the social contract protecting our work materialized as property.
I recommend you Hobbes' Leviathan and Locke's Second Treatise of Government. It is everything there and quite clearer than I have tried to explain it.

What role do sources have in historical inquiry
bixtya [17]

The use of primary sources exposes students to important historical concepts. First, students become aware that all written history reflects an author's interpretation of past events. Therefore, as students read a historical account, they can recognize its subjective nature.

Hope this helps have a grate day :)
