Naddika [18.5K]

The Warring States period (481/403 BCE - 221 BCE) describes the three centuries when various rival Chinese states battled viciously for territorial advantage and dominance. Ultimately the Qin state was victorious and established the first unified Chinese state. Besides incessant warfare, and probably because of it, the period saw significant developments in society, commerce, agriculture, philosophy, and the arts, setting the foundations for the subsequent flourishing of Imperial China. Write a paragraph explaining why you think George Washington’s presidency was so important in the development of the young natio
PilotLPTM [1.2K]
George Washingtons presidency was vital in the development of young America. Washington was a trusted figure, a war hero, he lead America to its independence during the Revolutionary war. The citizens of the united state followed him with their trust.
Washington set many of the precedents for the president that are still followed to this day,  for example the two term limit was established after he retired, only to be broken by FDR and it was later instated as a law. Without George Washington America would have been extremely different.
