This is seen specifically in Florence Italy where many other countries traded with these Italians and the city thrived with great wealth as a result of trade. Trade can be seen through the silk roads as people from Asia could then trade with those in Europe. Trade allowed for not only the sharing of foods, clothing, and other consumer goods, but the sharing of culture, religion, and different ways of life that encouraged the diversity of life and culture during the renaissance.
