It says "I work in a factory run by the government" which means it's run by the <em>government </em>the soviet union was a dictatorship, everything was run by the government and in many ways it was good, some ways not.

It says "authorized by the government" which also relates to the soviet unions government

I don't know how to explain it, but command economy is something the soviet union had.

He believed that peasants should be eliminated entirely. He saw no use for them, so why would he want to feed or please them? Also, he wasn't making much profit.
