Answer: Believed that the free market assured personal freedom

Explanation:

Young Americans for Freedom (YAF) was founded in 1960. The purpose of the organisation is to advocate public policies consistent with the Sharon Statement, which was adopted by young conservatives at a meeting at the home of William F. Buckley in Sharon, Connecticut, on September 11, 1960. The Sharon statement states that "Individual freedom and the right of governing originate with God. Political freedom is impossible without economic freedom. Limited government and strict interpretation of the Constitution. The free market system is preferable over all others."

Based on the above information, we can safely conclude that the whole purpose of the Young Americans for freedom is to advocate for a free market economy which will in turn guarantee individual freedom.

Answer:

Believed that the free market assured personal freedom.

Explanation:

The Young Americans for Freedom is a conservative organization that was founded in 1960 as a coalition between young conservatives and libertarians. Because of this, the organization follows many ideas of conservatism, such as the belief that the free market can help us achieve freedom. This organization was particularly popular during the 1960s, although it has recently experienced a resurgence in popularity.

What does "And Yet the Books" have to do with Nazis
Vika [28.1K]

Answer:

And yet the books will be there on the shelves, separate beings,

That appeared once, still wet

As shining chestnuts under a tree in autumn,

And, touched, coddled, began to live

In spite of fires on the horizon, castles blown up,

Tribes on the march, planets in motion.

“We are, ” they said, even as their pages

Were being torn out, or a buzzing flame

Licked away their letters. So much more durable

Than we are, whose frail warmth

Cools down with memory, disperses, perishes.

I imagine the earth when I am no more:

Nothing happens, no loss, it’s still a strange pageant,

Women’s dresses, dewy lilacs, a song in the valley.

Yet the books will be there on the shelves, well born,

Derived from people, but also from radiance, heights.
