The corals are the keystone species in the marine ecosystem. They make a shelter for other marine organisms. The coral reefs are made up of calcium carbonate which deposits by the corals.
Corals are small animals form in different forms known as coral polyps. They are present inside their skeleton. They feed different types of zooplankton and algae.
They come out of their skeleton and catch the zooplankton by their tentacles. Then corals feed it and digest it. The corals also provide shelter to the marine algae. The algae prepare food, which also takes by the corals. In return, the coral provides the algae shelter and carbon dioxide. The corals do not eat other corals.
Because gametes are haploid cells they have half the number of chromosomes in a normal diploid cell. Therefore, the fly traps gamete cells will have 4 chromosomes.
