Hello!

Step 1. Simplify the equation... 3x+4-12x

Step 2. Add 12x to both sides... 3x+4+12x=−12x+12x

15x+4=0

Step 3. Subtract 4 from both sides... 15x+4−4=0−4

15x=-4

Step 4. Divide both sides by 15...15x/15=−4/15

X=-4/15

Final Answer: x=-4/15

Hope I could help! :)

A label prints in the pediatric pharmacy
Elden [556K]

Answer:

107.14 ml of 70% dextrose and 392.86 ml of sterile water should be used.

Step-by-step explanation:

Since a label prints in the pediatric pharmacy satellite for 500 mL of dextrose 15% solution, but this concentration is not available commercially and needs to be compounded, and available in your pharmacy, you have a 1 L bag of sterile water and a 1 L bag of dextrose 70% available to compound the solution, to determine how many mLs of each are needed to make the requested solution, the following calculation must be performed:

500 x 0.15 = 75

100 x 0.70 = 70

A x 0.70 = 75

A = 75 / 0.70

A = 107.14

Therefore, 107.14 ml of 70% dextrose and 392.86 ml of sterile water should be used.

Which equation is the Gizmo using to find the x coordinates
wlad13 [49]

Answer:

The correct answer is C. (0,10).

Step-by-step explanation:

The polar coordinates are defined in terms of r and θ, where r is the distance of the point from the origin and θ is the angle made with the positive x-axis.

To convert from Polar Coordinates (r, θ) to Cartesian Coordinates (x, y) apply the following conversion formulas:

                                                      x = r\cos \theta \\y = r\sin \theta

We know that r=10 and \theta = 0.5\pi

So, the cartesian coordinates are,

x=10\cos \left(0.5\pi \right)=10\cos \left(\frac{1}{2}\pi \right)=10\cos \left(\frac{\pi }{2}\right)\\\\\mathrm{Use\:the\:following\:trivial\:identity}:\quad \cos \left(\frac{\pi }{2}\right)=0\\\\x=10\cdot \:0\\x=10

y=10\sin \left(0.5\pi \right)=10\sin \left(\frac{1}{2}\pi \right)=10\sin \left(\frac{\pi }{2}\right)\\\\\mathrm{Use\:the\:following\:trivial\:identity}:\quad \sin \left(\frac{\pi }{2}\right)=1\\\\y= 10

The correct answer is C. (0,10).
