Compared to other types of bonds, the minimum denominations of saving bonds ARE RELATIVELY LOW.

Saving bonds refers to low denomination bonds that is typically issued by the  United State government. The denominations of saving bonds range from $25 to $10,000. Saving bond is a long term bond that is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government, it takes 12 or more years to mature. The interest rate paid by saving bond is around 3.8% for saving period of 20 years and above. For a saving period that is less than 20 years, saving bond will only pay the base rate, which is about 0.1%, but the payment can last up to about 30 years.

Many specialists think that since we were hunter-gatherers surviving in small communities, our social structures have not evolved all that much.
