Answer:

geographical isolation

Explanation:

one way a new species ma form is by geographical isolation.

<em>Geographical isolation is a form of reproductive isolation in which a physical barrier separates two population of similar species. Each population then go on to become a new species.</em>

Reproductive isolation itself is a mechanism of speciation in which organisms are prevented from producing offspring through mating or produce an invalid offspring if mating and fertilization cannot be prevented from taking place.

When two population of the same species become geographically isolated, each population will follow different evolution path and then become new species.

How did the discovery of ribozymes assist in creating a plausible model for the prebiotic origin of life?
aleksley [76]
Ribozymes are biochemically too complex to have ever produced themselves naturalistically. They are an intermediate cellular functioning assembly that cannot survive on its own and they are too restrictive in function to enable metabolism and reproduction at the level of criticality to be considered plausible for life.

Their simplicity relative to RNA and DNA make them an attractive possibility, but they are not strategic enough, robust enough or in any producible using naturalistic processes.

How does the structure of a nephron directly relate to function of the kidney
VLD [36.1K]
Nephrons are the filtering structures of the kidneys. The kidneys contain millions and millions of these tiny filtering structures that are responsible for cleaning the blood. Nephrons are responsible for removing excess water, wastes, and other substances in the blood that are not needed by the body. They also return necessary substances (e.g. sodium, potassium, phosphorus) whenever the body runs low in supply.

If these nephrons are damaged, blood will not be properly filtered. As a result, the kidney will have different diseases and this might lead to kidney and multiple organ failure.       <span> </span>
