Yes, this is true!

This is less common than the process of water stored as a liquid becoming water vapor (evaporation) but it's also happening.
This process actually also has an opposite: deposition, when the water vapor directly becomes ice without passing through a liquid phase.

The water stored in snow and ice can return directly to the atmosphere through the process of sublimation. The statement is true.

Further Explanation:

Sublimation: It refers to the process in which a substance is converted from solid to the gas state directly, without being converted into liquid state. The process by which a substance is directly converted from a gas into a solid phase is referred as desublimation or deposition.

In the atmosphere, the ice and snow converted into water vapor without getting converted into water. It occurs mostly at high altitudes because the air pressure is lesser than the low altitudes. For example, sublimation occurs in Mt. Everest due to strong winds, low temperatures, low air pressure and, intense sunlight.

Therefore, the statement that the water in a form of snow and ice can directly return to the atmosphere by sublimation is true.

natulia [17]
The two gasses in the troposphere that play vital role in heat absorption are the water vapor and the carbon dioxide. Both of them are gasses that trap both part of the solar heating, and part of the Earth's heating, and they play a vital role in the regulation of the temperature on the Earth with the process better known as ''Greenhouse effect''.

Which churches began as a result of the First Great Awakening? Presbyterian and Anglican Quaker and Lutheran Catholic and Purita
zvonat [6]

Answer:

Baptist and Methodist.

Explanation:

The First Great Awakening was a period of spiritual renewal that occurred during the mid-18th century. This period also saw a great deviation from the Catholic belief system and the emergence of more Protestant sect religious churches such as the Baptist and the Methodists.

This spiritual revival and awakening began as a result of the oppressive nature of the Catholic Church of England. Beginning in the American colonies, the religious prosecution led to the revival and emergence or founding of a different Christian belief path such as the Baptists and the Methodist Churches.

How is India divided by language?
Nezavi [6.7K]

Answer:

Linguistically India is divided into two major linguistic families, and few more smaller linguistic families.

Explanation:

India is a country that has the second highest number of languages spoken in one country, 780 to be more precise. The majority of the languages are part of the Indo-Aryan language family, with the Dravidian languages being the second most spoken languages. Some of the smaller linguistic families are the Austroasiatic, Sino-Tibetan, and Tai-Kadai. This enormous diversity when it comes to the languages in India comes from the enormous ethnic diversity among the people of India.

 • The Indo-Aryan languages dominate India, apart from the southern part where they are absent.
 • The Dravidian languages dominate the southern part of India.
 • The smaller linguistic families are either located on the periphery of the country, or have small dispersed enclaves across the country.
