Which word pair best describes the tone Severn Suzuki uses in her introduction? worried and confused disappointed and upset sati
Alenkinab [10]

Answer:

Honest and direct.

Explanation:

Severn Suzuki's tone in her introduction from "The girl who silenced the world for five minutes" is honest and direct because she explains who she is and who she came with, she tells those 'adults' that she raised money to travel and to stand there and talk to them because she believes she has to fight for her future. She tells them that they have to change their ways. She's direct to them, she causes an impact with her words.

Which of the following includes help with grammar/mechanics and tips to avoiding plagiarism?
alexira [117]
Your best answer given to here is "B. English Lab" English Lab basically covers all things of and polishing your writing skills. Including grammar/ mechanics and even avoiding plagiarism.

"A. Outlines" can be eliminated because I believe this means the outline of an essay. Its probably about basically filling in an essay body and etc..

"C. Math Lab" can also be eliminated because the words Math Lab indicate learning activity, typically performed by students working to together. Its just about gathering information in teams to answer a real world question and the rest of the steps.

I believe we can eliminate "D". The SQR3 Method is basically a guideline on to become an active and effective reader. It about the method of becoming an aggressive reader that organizes information and answer questions. Has nothing to do with writing.

It could be "C" but I think the best answer is "A". Hoped this helped!

The following sentence has a misplaced modifier. Tired of studying and writing research papers, summer vacation came as a relief
Archy [21]

The sentence that sounds the best when you read it out loud is:

C. Summer vacation came as a relief to the student, who was tired of studying and writing research papers.

If you read all the sentences out loud they all sound weird except for this one.
