Answer: resources for life after high school

Explanation:

I dont exactly know what you mean by "which of the following is a good resource person to seek out"

But im hoping i can be a person to shed some useful advice

here are so many things you can do after highschool,

if you don't feel ready or even want to go to college (which is very important to note that you DO NOT have to attend a college based on what you choose to do) you could take a gap year!

gap years can be for earning money, traveling getting footing before entering the mess that is young adlut life

there is finding exactly what it is that you want to pressure,

if you already know what you want to do, if that is in a section of careers that requires a college education then i'd start with reserching, community colleges for your basics and then after that find a college that best suits your major, the reason I say go to a community college first is because of  the dreadful student debt, it is much, much cheeper to do your basics (english (or which ever language) math, science, ect) in a place where you arent paying your life away and when you finish your basics you can focus all towards you major!

and most importantly, I would advise learning as many life skills as possible, Budgeting, healthy living, organization and observation skills, like learning to live on a tight budget as a kid coming out of highschool, you probably dont have a lot of cash, its amazing if you already have a job but if you don't then, looking into how to write job applications is a important skill!!

drivers licenses is another thing, you can already get them in highschool if you'd like, but if you havent alreqady driving and having a car is a priority if you are getting a job, if you cant afford a car thats fine!

there are alternatives like biking which is eco friendly, public transportation is another great way to get around on a tight budget.

if you cannot find a job after highschool there is always great things like web design which makes great money, and it can be rather easy to learn code.

I don't know if this is what you were looking for but I really, really hope it helps in anyway ~

Which universal theme in the story do these lines from the passage suggest?
Elan Coil [88]
Perhaps the answer is "heroism". This man doesn't feel fear, he has to do what must be done. He wants to have his freedom more than anything else, and if somebody wants to stop him, he can only try, he is so brave and heroic that he will fight him for the thing he deserves.

How does the author foreshadow, hint at, the changes that will occur in jaun's personality and his life ? Provide examples of fo
klemol [59]

Answer:

One foreshadowing act is when he reported the fellow worker who tried to organize a strike, leading to Juan's promotion. Again, he also states that <em>"You don't form a habit by doing something once"</em>, which he proved wrong. These two examples are part of the factors that lead up to his 'power greed' and eventually led to his execution from his self-censored letter.

Explanation:

Foreshadowing is a literary technique that writers employ to provide hints about what will happen in future scenes. This allows the readers to have a sense of suspense, foreboding, and expectant about what is to happen to the character(s).

In the short story "The Censors" by Luisa Valenzuela, the authoritative regime of the government in censoring the letters of the people through a <em>"Censor's Secret Command"</em> shows the level of freedom the people are subjected to. And Juan, the protagonist of the story, also gets involved in the 'power play' where he, at first wants to join the Command only to ensure the safety of his letter to Mariana who has escaped to Paris. But once affiliated with the job, he gets dragged into the world of the 'power' the post/ job provides. And eventually, he brought his own death when he censors his letter so much that it was seized by the government and the writer/sender executed.

Some examples of foreshadowing are when he states <em>"You don't form a habit by doing something once" </em>which he proved wrong. Moreover, his act of turning in his colleague, who <em>"tried to organize a strike to demand higher wages for unhealthy work"</em> is another foreshadowing. This is because by turning in the guy, he got promoted which led him to get into higher posts where he eventually brought about his own downfall and is executed.

In 1924, Nathan Leopold and Richard Loeb were convicted of killing a fourteen-year-old neighbor boy. Leopold and Loeb were in th
USPshnik [31]

Answer:

Cruelty only makes cruelty. The implication is that a harsher sentence would only make people more cruel.

Explanation:

By showing mercy, hopefully, they will learn mercy towards others. By all means, I do not personally agree with this. A person should be held accountable for what they do/did. You have to determine if you think the death penalty is going to solve the problem. Killing someone does not rehabilitate them. Keeping in jail for life can offer them a chance at possibly having a change of heart - even though they are a lifer.
