patriot [66]
This sentence seems grammatically correct, but it’s wordy. if this is your sentence in an essay or something, i’d recommend splitting it into two. it could be something like “i do not dislike golf or tennis, and I actually enjoy swimming. Still, they can in no way replace the value of team sports.”

You decide to go to a house party instead of babysitting Friday night. What are your opportunity
Naddika [18.5K]

The opportunity cost of going to a night party instead of babysitting at home is:

 • The benefit of taking care of the baby adequately and completing your work that you would have gained from babysitting that night.

What is an opportunity cost?

This is the loss of value or benefit that would have been incurred by engaging in an activity rather than engaging in an alternative activity.

The opportunity cost in this scenario is the value of what you gave up in other to attend the party, which was to babysit the child and take proper care of the baby.

In conclusion, an opportunity cost is the loss of other alternatives when one alternative is already chosen.

I can make all the numbers from eleven to twenty using the digits 1 - 9 . Do you agree? Explain your answer.1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9
madam [21]

Answer: This is confusing but I do not agree that much because,

If we simply add the highest number twice from the digits 1-9, 9+9, which is 18. So 18 is the highest number which can be reached so 20 is not a possible number. However, if the problem has said that, we can obtain all the numbers from eleven to twenty by multiplying them, then I think it is possible...
