Answer:

Historical perspective gives readers a sense of how people were provoked mentally, socially, and emotionally at a certain period in time and how that caused them to act. For writers, it can shape out the setting in which events occur and give writers a mold in which to fit characters alongside historical figures.

It gives both readers and writers an explanation for why we evolved the way we did over time and can help them understand the consequences or profits that bleed into today.

An example of a historical perspective is looking at present-day racism against black people. By looking at the history of it, such as when slavery and racial segregation were widely accepted, we can understand why racism still exists today.

Which of the following statements about considering your audience and purpose is false?
topjm [15]

Answer:

You should correct the grammar, spelling, and punctuation in your draft.

Explanation:

It is important to understand your audience so you can better convey your point to them.

Helping your Audience

When giving a speech, the first thing to do is decide your purpose. Your purpose will pick how you convey either facts or opinions. Next, consider how knowledgeable the audience is about the topic. If your audience does not know a lot, you will have to explain more. Finally, decide the dication you should use to talk to your audience so they will understand you.

Writing the Draft

Writing a draft can be helpful to the speaker. However, the draft does not help the audience. The audience will not see the draft, so the grammar will not affect them as long as the speech still conveys the same information.
