Write a letter to your friend telling him or her about a lesson you have learnt from recent excursion you have had.
maria [59]

I would not be writing the letter but will give you a detailed and helpful guideline which would help you in writing future letters.

A standard informal letter has the following characteristics:

Writer's address

Salutation

Body of the letter

Conclusion

Valediction/Farewell

Writer's Address is written on the top right of the letter where you write your precise address which include street/house number, state/province, country (if you're writing to someone outside the country) and date.

Salutation: This is where you begin addressing the author by either, "Dear Friend", Dear Sir/Ma", etc. In this case, it would be suitable to use Dear Friend.

Body of the letter: This is where you tell the receiver why you are writing. In this case, you tell him or her about the excursion and what you learnt from it so far.

Conclusion: This is where you end the letter and say your farewell. It is usually the last paragraph.

Valediction/Farewell: This is where you sign out with "Yours Faithfully" or any other one you prefer and add your name at the bottom.
