Parent: Sure, we will focus on him but I want that more attention should be given to him in his class so that he can score good grades.

Teacher: Don’t worry, I had a word with his mathematics teacher and I discussed his problem with her.

Parent: Thank you so much.

Teacher: Please don’t mention that.

Parent: I have one more request. If you could please update me with his progress in the last month.

Teacher: Sure, you can have a word with me anytime or we can also fix a meeting.

Parent: Sure.

Teacher: Rest don’t worry, he is under our guidance and we will take right care of him.

Parent: Thank you, ma’am.

Remember, Johnny came from a terrible household. His parents either beat him, or ignored him. If Johnny became crippled, he wouldn't be able to come and go from that house as he pleased, which means he has to stay in that home where he was hated and unwanted. 

Here is the excerpt from the novel: 

"Even if Johnny did live he'd be crippled and never play football or help us out in a rumble again. He'd have to stay in that house he hated, where he wasn't wanted, and things could never be like they used to be. I didn't trust myself to speak. If I said one word, the hard knot in my throat would swell and I'd be crying in spite of myself." (Hinton, 87).

The Updondesie setgrenal at Bingus with a blank expression. "Well, Bingus Gillie, you might want to quex on out of here before you fall into some Toodlroo," quipped the Updondesie and he nudged Bingus over the edge into a never ending river of Toodlroo. He state and he completely ignore the scream kid, "Shall we move on with the bizogig?"
