Wellness refers to a balance of physical, social, mental, and
emotional health. It is generally used to mean a healthy balance of the mind,
body, and spirit. It is an active process of constantly becoming aware and
making choices towards a healthy and fulfilling life. Wellness goes hand-in-hand
with physical fitness and is sometimes used interchangeably in describing a
healthy lifestyle.

of complete physical, mental, and social well-being, and not merely the absence
