When trees are cut down or burnt down this can effect are climate negatively. Their stored carbon is released into the air as carbon dioxide. And this is how deforestation and forest degradation contribute to global warning.
If more ecologists keep track and are aware of this, they can prevent less of this, which means a better climate.
