To figure this out first we will convert each fraction in to a decimal. To do this we need to divide the numerator by the denominator.

8/10 = 8 ÷ 10 = 0.80

79/100 = 79 ÷ 100 = 0.79

So, 8/10 = 0.80 & 79/100 = 0.79.

Since 0.80 is more than 0.79 8/10 is bigger.

So 8/10 (0.80) is bigger than 79/100 (0.79).

Hope I helped ya!! :)

hoa [83]
Radian to degree conversion.
4(pi)/3 degrees= 4(pi)/3 × 180/pi radians

As pi radians= 180 degrees
Dividing both sides by pi :
pi / pi radian= 180/pi degrees
1 radian=180/pi degrees

4 × pi /3 × 180/ pi
pi and pi gets cancelled.
180/3= 60

How do I solve this?
Minchanka [31]

The maximum happens at x = -b/2a

x = -48/2(-16) = 3/2

Now replace x in the equation and solve for y:

y = 48(3/2) - 16(3/2)^2

y =  -72 - 36

y = 36

The maximum height is 36 feet.
