write a article about students being crouch potatoes by being obsessed with tv etc [ don't and don't scam ]
Maksim231197 [3]

Answer:

There is so much of hue and cry and ambiguity related to television's influence on children. This colourful box does more harm than good to children. It distorts children’s experience of the world. The different channels air different types of programmes; these programs impact their perception so much that they often fail to see the reality. For example in certain movies we see impossible things happening, and the protagonist performing stunts that are impossible to be performed in real life. There has been news of fatalities of certain young children who while trying to imitate the stunts of movies lost their lives.

Televisions air a whole range of advertisements of different products. Advertisements of chocolates, chips, soft drinks, ice-cream brands, burgers, pizzas, etc, are targeted at children to lure them. And we know what happens!

TV is the worst time consuming device. It kills children’s precious time. If they spend the same time studying or playing outdoor games, their academics, health, and consequently life in general will improve phenomenally. But unfortunately they waste their invaluable time by becoming addict to TV!

The most telling effect of TV is on children’s health. Watching TV continuously for long hours affects the eyes, leading to poor eyesight. According to a research report by Baker IDI Heart and Diabetes Institute, Melbourne, Australia, which was published on Circle magazine, people who watch TV for more than 4 hour a day have a higher risk (80%) of dying from heart disease compared with those who watch less than two hours.

While watching TV, children’s impressionable minds are vulnerable to the negative influences associated with improper, violent, vulgar content of some of the programs. It can weaken their moral and ethical values. A sound character is the first requirement for a healthy and happy life.

If TV has so many negative effects, we will have to devise some wise strategies for our children. Those strategies must ensure limited TV watching without negative effects. Regulated TV watching of our children is the best bet in this scenario. Limited channels; limited time are the sure ways to keep our children away from its negative effects on their body and mind.

Can you write a greek myth plz
Tomtit [17]

Answer:

in the beginning, there was only Chaos. Dense darkness covered everything until the Earth was born out of Chaos and the mountains, the sea, and then the sky with the sun, the moon and the stars. Then Uranus and Earth came together and gave birth to the Titans. But, Uranus was afraid that one of his children would take his throne. That is why he enclosed every one of them in the depths of the Earth. But his son, Cronus, the strongest of the Titans, defeated him and became world leader. He married Rhea, who gave birth to two gods and three goddesses: Hades, Poseidon, Hera, Hestia and Demeter. But Cronus inherited the fear of his father and believed that one of his offspring would later take his throne. So, when they were born, he swallowed them. However, Rhea was expecting a sixth child and fearing it would share the same fate with her other children, she secretly gave birth on a mountain in Crete and hid the newborn there. She named the child Zeus. She also tricked Cronus into thinking he swallowed this child too, by giving him a stone wrapped in swaddling clothes, which Cronus swallowed thinking it was his newborn. The Nymphs took care of Zeus and fed the baby with the milk of a goat. When he grew up, Zeus found his father and tricked him into drinking a mixture of wine and mustard, which caused him to disgorge the contents of his stomach. Zeus’ older brothers and sisters came out of Cronus fully grown! This is how the great Titanomachy began, the war between the Titans and the Gods, with Zeus as their leader. This titanic battle lasted for ten years. The gods defeated the Titans and threw them into Tartarus, a dark and gloomy place as far from the earth as earth is from the sky. Thus, Zeus became the ruler of the whole world and he and the other gods settled in Olympus.
