Why do you think Mao's consolidation of power
Lelu [443]

Answer:

Mao was busy fighting the Japanese alongside the nationalists to consolidate his power, so he didn't have time to consolidate his power. he had to deal with Japan first or else he wouldn't even exist to further the CCP revolution. not only was he fighting the Japanese to save himself, he fought the Japanese to gain more followers because of the atrocities the Japanese committed. He manipulated victims into serving his army.

Why is a first person narrative of an enslaved person valuable
kozerog [31]
It would be the most truthful and accurate first hand account. It’s kind of why holocaust survivors are/were some of the most important and valuable people to listen to and learn from because they were actually there. It’s not history to then, it’s their life. It’s their childhood. It’s the way they grew up and to learn first hand from those who lived through horrific past events is vital in protecting our future.
