The best example are roads.

USA economy is a mixed-market economy. It blends elements from market economy with elements from planned economies.

Private ownership is prioritized ( free market economy) but the government has control over some public services such as healthcare (to an extend), physical infrastructure (the road system), education, national defense, the postal system and some public lands.

The idea behind public ownership of these services is that they are better performed by public than private enterprise.

The roads in the USA and their infrastructure are funded by taxes (especially the gas one), tolls and user fees.

Why do many battles of the Civil War have two names? Historians cannot agree on the names Cities and bodies of water ad differen
lilavasa [31]

Answer:Northern soldiers, far more likely to hail from cities or urbanized areas, are believed to have been impressed with the geography of the south, including its mountains, valleys and abundant rivers and streams. In unfamiliar territory, they named many of their battles after these natural features. For Confederate troops, familiar with the rural, natural terrain, towns and buildings were more memorable, and in the south many of the same battles were referred to after the man-made structures nearby.

In all, there are more than a dozen Civil War battles (large and small) that often go by dual names. Here’s a look at some of the most famous examples.Northern soldiers, far more likely to hail from cities or urbanized areas, are believed to have been impressed with the geography of the south, including its mountains, valleys and abundant rivers and streams.
