Slaverey is terrible for slaves because slaves did not get freedom. Also because they were treated badly they got hit and it was painful for them also they were poor.

Slavery was terrible for slaves because slaves didn't have any freedom. And they were owned by others which changed  through the years

This is obviously known as short-term memory. We know it is not long-term, as it would not have been forgotten as quickly.
