Hey there :)

\frac{ \sqrt{28} }{2}

We know that √4 = 2

Therefore, \boxed {Option \ A \ is \ one \ right \ answer }

Breaking √28, the factors of 28 are 4 and 7, 2 and 14. In these the first pair has a perfect square root

So, \boxed { \frac{ (\sqrt{4})( \sqrt{7})  }{2} } = \boxed {  \frac{2 \sqrt{7} }{2} }
2 and 2 cancels out leaving us with √7

Which means, \boxed { Option \ D \ is \ another\ answer }

rjkz [21]
One cat has four paws, so there are 120/4=30 cats.  If a "set" of cats is two uncool cats and three cool cats, there are five cats in a set, so there are 30/5=6 sets.  Since each of the six sets contains three cool cats, there are 18 cool cats in the family.

oksian1 [2.3K]

Answer:  There are 7,677 streets named as " First Street" and 7, 189 streets named as  "Main Street" .

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of streets named as First Street .

y be the number of streets named as Main Street.

AS per the given information, we have the following system of equations :

x+y=14866-------------(1)\\\\x=488+y-------------(2)

Substitute the value of x from (2) in (1) , we get

488+y+y=14866\\\\ 2y =14866- 488\\\\ 2y=14378\\\\ y=7189

Put value of y in (2), we get

x=488+7189=7677

Hence , there are 7,677 streets named as " First Street" and 7, 189 streets named as  "Main Street" .
