Answer:

The answer is given below:

Explanation:

A food chain consists of producers and different consumers. Producers are the organisms which produces food using sun energy. Consumes directly eats plants or eat other animals to fulfill their energy needs. So, in any ecosystem energy flows through food chain in unidirectionl manner.

Sun is the ultimate source of energy. The producers uses solar energy to make chemical energy (glucose) through photosyntheis. The cosumers use this chemical enegy through food by eating plants. Some animals eat other animals to get energy. The chemical energy stored as ATP (an energy currency).

g What will be the effect of the overexpression of this truncated receptor? EGFR will dimerize but will not cross‑phosphorylate,
Alexandra [31]

Answer:

EGFR will activate other proteins without dimerization, causing uncontrolled cell growth.

Explanation:

EGFR gene :

Epidermal growth factor receptor,

-which spans the cell membrane so that one end of the protein remains inside the cell and the other end located outer surface of the cell. This causes receptor to attach ligands, and to receive signals ,by which cell respond to its environment. Epidermal growth factor receptor binds to many different type of receptors. The binding of a ligand to receptor allows the receptor to attach to another nearby epidermal growth factor receptor protein (dimerize), activating the receptor complex. As a result, signaling pathways within the cell are triggered that promote cell growth and division and cell survival. If there is abnormlty in the expression of EGFR gene , then the cell show uncontrolled growth.

What is the difference between plant cells and animal cells

marin [14]
A plant cell contains a large, singular vacuole that is used for storage and maintaining the shape of the cell. In contrast, animal cells have many, smaller vacuoles. Plant cells have a cell wall, as well as a cell membrane. ... Animal cells simply have a cell membrane, but no cell wall.
