Ok well if you have 8 students and 2 boards divide the students by 2. 8/2=4 now, if each student wanted to paint part of a board and there are four students then divide 1 by 4 1/4=.25 or 1/4 so 4 students can paint one board while the other 4 students pain the other board
An easier way of doing this would be to subtract the initial attitude from the final attitude and divide by the rate of increase = 30000 - 6000÷4000 = 24000÷4000 =6mins
