Answer:

The Three Musketeers story is located in the 19th century in France.

Young D`Artagnan goes to Paris with a wish to become a musketeer.

He took with himself gifts from his father: a horse, 15 crowns and a letter of recommendation to Commander of King`s musketeers.

There he befriends with three musketeers: Athos, Aramis and Porthos.

Also, he fell in love with Constance Bonacieux.

In the background of his story is love of Queen Anne of France and the Duke of Buckingham whom she gave diamonds, all of this behind the back of the King. Cardinal, who is even more powerful than the King, was in love with Anne some time ago, but she rejected him. Now he wants to revenge her and asks form the King to make a party on which Queen Anne would wear those diamonds that are currently in England. Madame Bonacieux promises that she will help her, so she asks D`Artagnan to bring them back. He goes to England with his three fellow musketeers. The Duke gave them the diamonds, but some of them are missing, so he stops any ship from sailing to France which leads to war between these two countries, but Queen Anne is saved this time. Poor D`Artagnan finally gets a moment with Madame Bonacieux, but she was kidnapped.

The story goes on with D`Artagnan looking for his friends who in the meanwhile went to other places. When he finally gathers them, he goes back to Paris where the King recommended him to become a musketeer. They all need new clothes for the war, so in different ways, they try to get it. D`Artagnan sleeps with a woman, Milady, who turns out to be Cardinal`s spy. Cardinal ordered her to kill the Duke of Buckingham and in return he will kill D`Artagnan. She did her part, although D`Artagnan tried to stopped her by informing certain people about her goal in France. But she manages to accomplish it. Her next stop was the convent where Madame Bonacieux is located. D`Artagnan came after her and did not make it to stop her from poisoning Constance who dies. So he took Milady to trial and she was executed.

Cardinal requested to see D`Artagnan who confessed everything that is done. Instead of killing him, Cardinal gave D’Artagnan a commission as a lieutenant in the Musketeers. At first, he did not want to accept it and offered it to his friends, but they had their own plans, so finally he accepted it.

Kerala is very rich in its folk song tradition and has many varying folk songs as there are variances in the climate, land, people and their occupations. The Naadanpattu of Kerala or Kerala folk songs narrate unrecorded tales of the land and people. These lyrical songs are evoked from the emotions and simple wisdom of agrestic folk. The toiling group of boatmen, peasants and farmers forgets the monotony of their humdrum life by humming these melodious songs. Almost every aspect of life and occasions such as childbirth, marriage, festivals, the glee of the harvest season, weddings, war, the union of man and woman, mythology and religion and death finds a place in Kerala folksongs. Maappila Pattukal, Palli Pattukal, Onapaattukal, Vilpaattu, Vanchipattukal and vadakkan pattukal, are some of these native songs of different castes and communities of Kerala.

Deadline = Today!!!

In 12-15 sentences, summarize the book "Thirteen Days to Midnight".
Ket [755]

Answer:

Jacob Fielding is your average teenager. But one day he is given an amazing power that grants him absolute invincibility, but at a cost. The longer you have said ability, the more suicidal psychopathic you become. The only way to get rid of this curse is to simply say the words, "You are invincible" to the person of your choice.

Jacob soon starts to realize he has this power. Without realizing, he signs his friend Ophelia’s cast with the words “You are indestructible” Then things start to go awry. The children become obsessed with his power and only want to use it for themselves.

Ophelia soon becomes dark and sinister like the other children. Jacob and his other friend Milo spend the rest of the book attempting to save her. One common theme in this book is that “with power comes great responsibility” The dark and twistedness of this book illustrates this theme through all of its characters.
