Two shaded identical rectangular decorative tiles are first placed (one each) at the top and at the base of a door frame for a h

obbit's house, as shown in Figure 1. The distance from W to H is 45 inches. Then the same two tiles are rearranged at the top and at the base of the door frame, as shown in Figure 2. The distance from Y to Z is 37 inches. What is the height of the door frame, in inches?

Answer:

41 inches

Step-by-step explanation:

Let the point at the top of the door on the left be x

Wx + xH = 45

Let the point at the top of the door  on the right be c

Yc + cZ = 37

We know the door is

xH +  plus the width of the tile

The width of the tile is Yc

xH + Yc

On the right door

cZ +  the height of the tile

cZ + Wx

Add the two doors together

xH + Yc + cZ + Wx = 2 times the height of the door

Rewriting

xH +  Wx +  Yc + cZ = 2 times the height of the door

45+ 37 = 2 times the door height

82 = 2 times the door height

Divide by 2

41 = door height

Answer:

none

Step-by-step explanation:

i do not thinn it is any of these as 180 -120 =60 so uvt is 60 and t is 50. every triangles angles add up to 180 so 50 +60 = 110 and 180 -110 is 70. so i think the answer is 70 degrees and if i am wrong please correct me and explain how.

If thewronskian w of f and g is 3e4t,and if f(t) = e2t,find g(t).
ehidna [41]
W(f(x),g(x))=\begin{vmatrix}f(x)&g(x)\\f'(x)&g'(x)\end{vmatrix}=f(x)g'(x)-g(x)f'(x)

We have f(t)=e^{2t}\implies f'(t)=2e^{2t}, so

W(f(t),g(t))=e^{2t}g'(t)-2e^{2t}g(t)=3e^{4t}
\implies e^{-2t}g'(t)-2e^{-2t}g(t)=3
\implies\dfrac{\mathrm d}{\mathrm dt}[e^{-2t}g(t)]=3
\implies e^{-2t}g(t)=\displaystyle\int3\,\mathrm dt
\implies e^{-2t}g(t)=3t+C
\implies g(t)=3te^{2t}+Ce^{2t}

where C is any arbitrary constant.
