In this problem, they want you to take the triangle and flip it over the line. It's going to create a mirror image on the other side.

That line is y = x, which is just a basic plain diagonal line that goes bottom left to top right.

To start, I would ALWAYS write down the coordinates of the original triangle.

D (-1, 3)

F (-3, 1)

E (-1, 1)

Now, here's the trick

Anytime it asks you to flip over Y = X, remember that you just flip X and Y!!!

(X, Y) --> (Y, X)

Your new coordinate points are going to be:

D (3, -1)

F (1, -3)

E (1, -1)

Now, just plot those points, connect the dots, and you have your new, mirrored triangle!

Solve the equation a = m – n for the variable n.
MaRussiya [10]

Answer:

m - a = n

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Subtract m from both sides

a - m = m - n - m

a - m = -n

Step 2: Divide both sides by -1

(a - m) / -1 = -n / -1

-a + m = n

m - a = n

Answer: m - a = n

A parallelogram is shown below: Part A: What is the area of the parallelogram? Show your work. (5 points) Part B: How can you de
aksik [14]

Part A) The area of a parallelogram is base × height.

3 × 2/3 = 6/3 = 2

2 feet squared is the area of the whole parallelogram.

Part B) The diagonal of a parallelogram separates it into two congruent triangles.

The area of each triangle will be:

base × height × 1/2

3 × 2/3 × 1/2 = 6/6 = 1

1 foot squared is the area for each triangle.

You would just break each one into 2 separate equations and solve for x/r. Then write the answer in between the two inequality signs- so the answers for 9 and 11 would look like this, just fill in the blanks with the answer you got: 3≤____<5, 2>___>-2.

0≤x-2<3
1≤x-2 and x-2<3

-1>2r-5>-9
-1>2r-5 and 2r-5>-9

this one just solve each one for z.
2z-1≤5 or 3z-5>10
z≤3 or x>5
