okay so first you do 6 times 2 you got 12 so maybe 2.5 times 6 and that is 15 so now you multiply 4.5 times 2.5 and i got 11.25. So 11.25 pounds of chicken is needed.

D. Lamar's teacher extended the graph as shown below and asked Lamar to write the function for the graph shown below using f(x)
Ainat [17]
You can read the slope of the line directly from the graph:

m = rise/run = 1/1 = 1.  Also easily visible is the y-intercept, b = 1.

Thus, this linear function has the equation f(x) = x + 1.

What is the answer pls help
MAXImum [283]
2h + 8 > 3h - 6

To solve this question, we must isolate the h

Subtract 3h from both sides

2h (-3h) + 8 > 3h (-3h) - 6

2h - 3h + 8 > -6

-h + 8 > - 6

Subtract 8 from both sides to isolate the h

-h + 8 (-8) > - 6 (-8)

-h > - 6 - 8

-h > -14

Finally, isolate the h by making it a positive. To do so, divide - 1 from both sides. Note that when you divide a negative number, you must flip the sign.

-h/-1 > - 14/-1

h < 14

h < 14, or (1) is your answer

hope this helps

What is the area of a triangle with a base length of 14 ft and a height of 7 ft?
nasty-shy [4]
To find the area of a triangle, the following formula is used
Area of ∆=1/2×(base×height)

let me tell you that the above formula is only valid for right angled triangles.

Assuming that the given triangle is a right angled triangle, we have
ar(∆)= 1/2×(14×7)
=98/2
=49 square ft
