Slope means m

1. AB = Slope is 3/4, CD = Slope is 0

2. AB = Slope is 2/5, CD = Slope is -5/2

Rise / Run

1. ) A (( -2 (x1) , 3 (y1) )), B (( 2 ( x2) , 6 (y2))

m = y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

m = 6 - 3 / 2 - (-2) = 3/4 (AB)

C (( -1 (x1) , 0 (y1)) , D (( 3 (x2) , 3 (y2))

m = 3 - 0 / 3 - (-1) = 0 / 4 = 0 (CD)

2. ) A (( 0 ( x1) , 2 ( y1 )) , B (( 5 ( x2 ) , ( 4 ( y2))

m = 4 - 2 / 5 - 0 = 2/5 (AB)

m = 3 - 8 / 3 - 1 = -5/2 (CD)
