puteri [66]

Answer:

supported a non-communist government

Explanation:

The involvement of the USA in the Korean conflict was because of two reasons, one being to stop the communist spreading and influence, the other was to gain control over this very important strategic peninsula.

In order to not allow the communism to take over the peninsula, the USA got involved military, supporting the non-communist government from the South, fighting against the Soviet and Chinese supported communist North.
