Answer:

Daughter: Hey, mom...

Mother: Yes, darling?

Daughter: I have this science question that I need help with. Can you help me with it, please?

Mother: Sure. What is it?

Daughter: What are some foods that keep our immune system strong?

Mother: Well, the first food that comes to my mind is broccoli. There is also spinach and yogurt. Oh! Also citrus fruits.

Daughter: What are examples of citrus fruits?

Mother: A few popular citrus fruits are grapefruits, oranges and tangerines.

Daughter: Why do citrus fruits keep our immune system strong?

Mother: Well, it's because citrus fruits have vitamin C in them and people think it increases the production of white cells. Plus, it's key to fighting infections. What else you need to know?

Daughter: What about broccoli? Why does it keep our immune system strong?

Mother: Broccoli has a bunch of vitamins and minerals. It's packed with vitamins A, C, and E, as well as many other antioxidants and fiber. It's one of the healthiest vegetables you can put on your table.

Daughter: I think that's all I need. Just a couple of examples with their explanation. Thank you mother.

Mother: You're welcome.
