What made the USA decide to enter at World War 2 on Great Britain's side

Answer: The USA had a relationship with the UK (Great Britain) and they had an alliance. They only participated in WW2 after Japan bombed them in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii on December 7, 1941. The US and UK made a compromise which is why they joined their side.
