Answer:

V =84.78 inches ^2

Step-by-step explanation:

The volume of a cylinder is given by

V= pi *r^2 h

We know h= 12 inches

and r = 1.5 inches

V = pi * (1.5)^2 * 12

V = pi * 2.25*12

V = 27 pi

If we approximate by 3.14

V = 3.14 (27)

V =84.78 inches ^2

Find the difference. (9/x^2-9x)-(6/x^2-81)
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

The difference is  $\frac{3 x+81}{x(x-9)(x+9)}$

Explanation:

The expression is $\left(\frac{9}{x^{2}-9 x}\right)-\left(\frac{6}{x^{2}-81}\right)$

Removing the parenthesis, we have,

$\left\frac{9}{x^{2}-9 x}\right-\left\frac{6}{x^{2}-81}\right$

Factoring the terms $x^{2}-9 x$ and $x^{2}-81$, we get,

$\frac{9}{x(x-9)}-\frac{6}{(x+9)(x-9)}$

Taking LCM, we get,

$\frac{9(x+9)-6x}{x(x-9)(x+9)}}$

Simplifying the numerator, we get,

$\frac{9x+81-6x}{x(x-9)(x+9)}}$

Subtracting the numerator, we have,

$\frac{3 x+81}{x(x-9)(x+9)}$

Hence, the difference is $\frac{3 x+81}{x(x-9)(x+9)}$

one liter of strawberries weight about 4 kilograms about hkw many liters of strawberries would weight 400 grams
Leokris [45]
It says the in every 1 liter of strawberries weighs 4 kilograms.
Find how many liters of strawberries are there in 400 kilograms.
=> to get the answer, divide the 400 by 4
=> 400 / 4
=> 100 liters of strawberries
=> to check if our answer is correct.
To this formula
=> answer x divisor
=> 100 x 4 = 400
Thus, there are 100 liters of strawberries and weighs for about  400 kilograms all in all.

Y &gt;x2-8x+17<br> Please help me !!!:((
Shalnov [3]
I hope this is the correct way to solve one of these.

first you need to know how the graph is so you consider y=x²-8x+17 (you might want to see the picture below to understand in a better way)

then you have to evaluate two points. one above the curve and one underneath the curve to see where y is greater than the curve. so let’s try for instance (0,0) and (4,2)
finally you must determine which points confirm that the statement is actually true. then you select the region for your solution :)
