General Edward Braddock was popular British General who was also the commander-in-chief of the North American colonies. He was giving complete command was an expedition to fight off French and Indian forces.

This culminated into the French-Indian War where he lost not only a lot of his own troops but eventually his own life.

Accounts of his life and why he lost were clearly explained by both George Washington and Benjamin Franklin who both knew him.

<u> and greatly underestimated both the Indians and the French.</u>

This meant that Braddock had fewer resources than required and was simply ill-prepared for a conflict.
