What’s the central idea of Mike kubic's article The salem (and other) witch hunts ?
Travka [436]

The central idea of Mike kubick's article 'The salem (and other) witch hunts' was to show how people, mainly women, were chased by the Church and obliged to confess crimes they hadn't committed. All this hunt was made 'in the name of God' and it was very difficult to escape or to think about denouncing the problem to authorities since they were the same people that committed such an abominable act.

Choose the pair that best completes the analogy.
jonny [76]
The answer is c. courtroom : lawyer.

The original analogy, football field : head coach, is comparing a workplace to a profession that would work in that workplace. A, B, and D don't fit that description (A is comparing two similar professions, B is comparing a job with a task that person would do, and D is comparing two people) so C is your best option (it, too, follows the format of workplace : profession.)

Hope this helps!

Which choice provides the best evidence that this story is written from a first-person point of view?
Whitepunk [10]

Answer:

Thank you Bytefhf

The answer would be B

Explanation:

B. The story tells about something that happened in the past.

If it tells about a story in the past it probably is the character in the story therefore that would be first person.
