You can take 120 things and divided them into 3 different groups and what ever you have left you would get  the remainder so 120 divided into 3 groups is 40 so there would be 40 groups of 3 and to check this you could do 40x3 to get 120. So your answer would be 40 groups of 3 with NO remainder.

Hey, this is really simple. Let's look at 12÷3 . That equals 4, since we have the zero from the 12 we need to add it to the four. So your answer would be 120÷3=40. Good luck !
