Trinity was the very first nuclear device blast code name. The U.S. Army ran the drill at 5:29 a.m. The Manhattan Project was signed on 16 July 1945.  

The test was done on what would become the USAAF Alamogordo Bombardment and Gunnery Range, which now reside in the White Sands Missile Range (which is situated in the Jornada Del Muerto desert about 56 kilometres to the southeast of Scores.

Anxieties of a fizzle contributed to creating a structure called the Jumbo steel container, which could hold plutonium, and was allowed to retrieve it, but Jumbo wasn't being used.

The Equal Protection Clause is included in the Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution. The clause was enforced in 1868 and supports that no state shall refuse to any person within its jurisdiction “equal protection of the laws”.
