A very small number of firms producing a homogeneous product

Explanation:

An oligopoly is a corporate structure regulated by a few firms. It has been said that a market is highly competitive as divided by a few companies. Although only a few businesses rule, other small businesses will exist on the market as well.

Another oligopoly example is automotive manufacturing;

Ford (F), GMC and Chrysler are the main car manufacturers in the United states. In spite of smaller mobile operators, Verizon (VZ), Sprint (S), AT&T (T), and T-Mobile (TMUS) continue to be the industry's leading network.

ahrayia [7]

Answer: context

Explanation:

The factor that has most likely influenced Downing's perception of Law is context.

Context refers to the situation for the occurence of a event. It's vital to look at the circumstances that were present at the time of the behavior of a person when attempting to understand the person's behavior.

Assuming both of them were part of team meetings where almost all member gave their own suggestions, then Law would not have drawn as much attention from Downing.

Performance, polygraph, or drug tests are?
Ivanshal [37]
I am not entirely sure what a performance test is, but I can help with the others. A polygraph is a machine, used usually if you are in legal trouble, to see if you are lying.  While results aren't 100% accurate, you typically can get a gage for if someone committed a crime.  They are also rarely used for interviews, some companies want to see if people are lying on their resumes.  Drug tests are tests that are given to most people with a job, and especially sports players.  Companies especially like to test people for drugs, to see if they might be on an illegal drug that could cause them to work less efficiently.  It also is a liability issue for the company if an employee is on an illegal drug.  Drug tests are typically done at a lab, and you usually have to pee in a cup and have it get tested.

Under the accrual basis of accounting, many of the account balance in the ledger at the end of the accounting period are reporte
Helen [10]

Answer: 4. The expenses incurred during a period are matched with the revenues that those expenses generated.

Explanation:

The accrual basis of accounting works by matching accounting transactions to the period that they occur in. For instance, if revenue is sold in year 1 but the cash for it is only received in year 2, the revenue will be recorded for year 1.

The matching principle falls under the accrual basis and matches the expenses in a period to the revenue that the expenses generated in that same period. This is why the expenses in the income statement are only those that occurred in the current period and expenses for future periods are put in the balance sheet.
