Answer:

The second royal governor of Georgia, who is often credited with being the second founder of Georgia, was Henry Ellis.

Explanation:

On August 15, 1756, Ellis was appointed Second Royal Governor of the Colony of Georgia (now the state of Georgia) and held the post until May 14, 1758. In 1758 he published an essay entitled "Heat of the Weather in Georgia", giving the first information on the climate of the colony. In November 1760, due to the unhealthy climate of the colony, he returned to England and held various blue-collar positions.

Henry Ellis, Georgia's second royal governor (1757-1760), was born August 24, 1721 in Ireland. He left home to become a seasoned traveler. In 1756, he was appointed Georgia's second royal governor. He arrived in Savannah on Feb. 16, 1757 to replace Governor John Reynolds, who was extremely unpopular with the colonists.

Why do many people support switching from standard time to DST in the spring?
valina [46]

Answer:

Changing the clocks does not create extra daylight, but it causes the Sun to rise and set at a later time by the clock. So, when we spring forward an hour in spring, we add 1 hour of natural daylight to our afternoon schedule. Proponents of DST argue that longer evenings motivate people to get out of the house.

Answer: The Nazis made use of collective responsibility when they invaded Poland in 1939. Basically the Germans told the Polish people any kind of help that they offered to anyone of the Jewish faith was punishable by death. The same punishment would apply to the person who tried to help Jewish people as it did to the Jewish people. For every German killed by a Polish person, 100-400 Polish people were killed in retaliation.
