Answer:

The second royal governor of Georgia, who is often credited with being the second founder of Georgia, was Henry Ellis.

Explanation:

On August 15, 1756, Ellis was appointed Second Royal Governor of the Colony of Georgia (now the state of Georgia) and held the post until May 14, 1758. In 1758 he published an essay entitled "Heat of the Weather in Georgia", giving the first information on the climate of the colony. In November 1760, due to the unhealthy climate of the colony, he returned to England and held various blue-collar positions.

Henry Ellis, Georgia's second royal governor (1757-1760), was born August 24, 1721 in Ireland. He left home to become a seasoned traveler. In 1756, he was appointed Georgia's second royal governor. He arrived in Savannah on Feb. 16, 1757 to replace Governor John Reynolds, who was extremely unpopular with the colonists.

How did the role of colonialism in spreading christianity around the world
11111nata11111 [884]
Christianity and colonialism are often closely associated because Catholicism and Protestantism were the religions of the European colonial powers[1] and acted in many ways as the "religious arm" of those powers.[2] According to Edward Andrews, Christian missionaries were initially portrayed as "visible saints, exemplars of ideal piety in a sea of persistent savagery". However, by the time the colonial era drew to a close in the last half of the twentieth century, missionaries became viewed as "ideological shock troops for colonial invasion whose zealotry blinded them",[3] colonialism's "agent, scribe and moral alibi."

Thepotemich [5.8K]

Answer:

<em>The enmity between the two countries had long historical roots and racist underpinnings: Dominicans, with their Spanish culture and largely European ancestry, looked disdainfully upon black Haitian labourers; however, the Dominican economy depended on cheap Haitian labour. How did the institution of slavery continue to affect the world even after it was abolished
Digiron [165]

Even though slavery was abolished, that did not mean the white people would stop treating the black people with a lack of respect. Thus lead to segregation some years later, and then resulted in the civil right movement.
