Answer:

I would like to first thank the department of education which considered me worthy to be named the teacher of the year, I truly appreciate this recognition.

The principal who selected and forwarded my name to the department and his assistance in making sure that all the teachers perform to their maximum ability in our school.

To my family and friends who usually stay up all night sometimes helping me prepare and mark the exam papers for my students.

To my mentor who encourages me to keep being optimistic and working hard irrespective of whatever conditions I face on daily basis, who provides me with all the support that I need.

Most of all to my students who work hand in hand with me to make sure that teaching and learning is effective at all times.

This year has been a successful year in which we saw a lot of the support from the department of education which has assisted all of us as teachers with appropriate resources that help us achieve the learning and teaching goals.

We look forward to more support from the department as we begin the coming year .

Thank you to you all.

Anuta_ua [19.1K]

The term literal meaning means that all words are in strict accordance with their original meanings. In other words, to apply the literal meaning is to take the words in their most basic sense without metaphor or exaggeration.

this is normally used to make the reader understand everything ..without any use of indirect language .

well to make it clear to u ill try to give an example :

" Can you wait outside? "

In the literal meaning, this could be construed as:

Do you have the ability to wait outside?
