Answer:

\frac{7}{\sqrt{74} }

Step-by-step explanation:

Please look at the attached photo for your information

Sine value = \frac{Height}{hypotenuse} but here we know that the tip of a blade is at (−5, 7)

=>  Heigh = 7 (the value of y)

=> Hypotenuse = \sqrt{7^{2} + 5^{2}  } = \sqrt{74}

We substitute two values have just been found in the sine value fomula:

\frac{7}{\sqrt{74} }

Q + d = 16....q = 16 - d
0.25q + 0.10d = 3.10

0.25(16 - d) + 0.10d = 3.10
4 - 0.25d + 0.10d = 3.10
-0.25d + 0.10d = 3.10 - 4
-0.15d = -0.90
d = -0.90/-0.15
d = 6...dimes

q + d = 16
q + 6 = 16
q = 16 - 6
q = 10...quarters

so there are (10 - 6) = 4 more quarters then dimes

Solve by elimination <br> 7x+7y=-7<br> -10x-7y=28
Zarrin [17]

Answer:

x = - 7, y = 6

Step-by-step explanation:

7x + 7y = - 7 -----> equation 1

- 10x - 7y = 28 -----> equation 2

Add equations 1 & 2,

7x + 7y = - 7

- 10x - 7y = 28

___________

- 3x + 0 = 21

- 3x = 21

x = 21 / - 3

x = - 7

Substitute x = - 7 in equation 1,

7x + 7y = - 7

7y + 7x = - 7

7y + 7 ( - 7 ) = - 7

7y - 49 = - 7

7y = - 7 + 49

7y = 42

y = 42 / 7

y = 6

kap26 [50]

Answer: x = 40  and  y = 40

Step-by-step explanation:

We can write the equation for the area as: x*y = 1600

We can write the equation for the perimeter as: 2x + 2y = 160

An easy way to solve a question like this is to graph both equations on a graphing calculator, if you don't have one on you you can use Desmos

Graph both: y = 1600/x

                             and

                     y =  80 - x

Turns out you get x = 40 and y = 40
