Structure:

DNA is a double helix (like a twisted ladder) while RNA is a single helix (like if you cut the twisted ladder in half along the rungs)

Functions:

In humans and most other organisms, DNA stores and transfers genetic information (sort of like a genetic bank). On the other hand, RNA is the one that codes for amino acids and is also the messenger between ribosomes and DNA to make proteins.
