The Treaty of Paris was signed in 1783 and brought an end to the American Revolutionary War. The four most important provisions were:

1) The Treaty recognized American Independence and gave it sovereignty and independence to the states

2) It established the borders of the American territory and Britain surrendered their previously owned land.

3) Determined fishing rights off the American coast.

4) The territory that was captured during the war would be returned without compensation.

Cons: After Harding’s death, the Teapot Dome Scandal and other instances of corruption came to light, damaging his reputation. Pretty much his reputation got destroyed when he died.
