Ribosomes are the structure upon which messenger RNA is attached to synthesize a protein. If the protein is to be exported, the ribosomes are attached to the endoplasmic reticulum. The nucleus contains the DNA from which the m-RNA is synthesized.

What is the function of a nucleus in a plant cell and a endoplasmic reticulum
qwelly [4]
It stores the cell's hereditary material, or DNA, and it coordinates the cell's activities, which include intermediary metabolism, growth, protein synthesis, and reproduction (cell division). What are the end products of the electron transport chain?
solong [7]

The end products of electron transport chain are:

Water

Adenosine triphosphate (ATP)

Explanation:

  • Most of the free energy released during the oxidation of  glucose to CO₂ is retained in the reduced co-enzyme NADH and FADH₂, generated during the kreb's cycle.
  • Electron are released from these co-enzymes and are eventually transferred to an oxygen molecule to form water.
  • These transfer of electron from co-enzymes to oxygen molecule occurs through a series of protein complexes in the mitochondrial membrane. And the process is termed as Electron Transport Chain.
  • The large amount of free energy is released during the oxidation of NADH and FADH₂ is used in the production of ATP

Calcium has an atomic number of 20 and an atomic mass (weight) of 40. Therefore, we know that calcium has
romanna [79]
It would have 20 protons, 20 neutrons, and 20 electrons. Protons and electrons are USUALLY (I say usually because of the different types of atoms) the same as the atomic number. To find neutrons you take the atomic mass minus the atomic number. 40-20=20
