What effects did the meiji restoration have on Japan's economy
Alex73 [517]
The Meiji restoration accelerated industrialization, land reform and brought massive change to the social structure in Japan. Thus, this helped the economy in many ways. Samurais, which were an elite class in Japan, were very expensive to upkeep and the Meiji restoration abolished this. Villagers were able to lease land to other farmers, which made them rich, as the social classes interacted more with one another. The Meiji also regulated that everyone spoke the Samurai Japanese dialect, so that there was no distinction/discrimination between classes based on someone's dialect and more of an equal chance was given to individuals. The military was also strengthened and the booming industry required a massive increase in production providing many with jobs in industrial and infrastructure occupations.

ANEK [815]

Answer:     A. Jesus had his claim rejected by the Jewish religious authorities.

Explanation:  Jesus believed that he was sent from God to redeem the chosen people for their sins. He spoke for himself that he was the son of God, the Messiah who, according to the Old Testament, was to come and save people from misery and slavery. The Jews believed in the coming of the Messiah, and though some believed that Jesus was the Messiah, such as his disciples and many others whom Jesus helped, cured, etc., the official representatives of Judaism, i.e. religious leaders, rejected it with indignation, as the Christ's entire teaching. They considered that Christ's claim that he was the Messiah was a great sin, and that he was condemned to crucifixion, and his followers, the Christians, were labelled as a sect and fiercely persecuted.
