A simile compares things using "like" or "as". A metaphor doesn't use those words. Instead, it mostly uses is. For example,

Simile: This light is as bright as the sun. Or,
The football player falls to the ground like a leaf.

Metaphor: Your house is a castle. Or,
The cat is a monster.

Exercise 1 Write a personal pronoun that agrees with the indefinite pronoun antecedent in the sentence. Underline the antecedent
Marta_Voda [28]

The correct answer is;

No one should lend their comb to anyone else.

A pronoun is a word used in place of one or more nouns. A pronoun's number must coincide with the number of either its antecedent or the word it refers to. In sentences, pronouns and their antecedents commonly coexist.

A pronoun is a word used in place of one or more nouns. There are pronouns that are unclear, relative, and personal. A word to which the pronoun refers is known as an antecedent. Both the gender and the number of its antecedent must match. As a pronoun, I is usually capitalized. If a pronoun reference is ambiguous, state the noun again or rephrase it.

Brutus used ethics by pointing out that he is very loyal to Rome before before he is even loyal to his closest friends. His goal was to impress the commoners. Antony used very convincing characteristics in his speech to persuade his audience. His goal was to try to get the commoners to fully believe him and see who the real murder is and set a look out for them. Brutus uses ethic to by suggesting that anyone who opposes Caesar's murder must also oppose Rome and therefor hate his own Country.

Antony uses persuasion to win over the crowd, and he makes a promise to Brutus not to speak bad things about them as to killers and not give them away so he twisted his promise around so it can backfire on Brutus as the killer. Antony handled his appeal better by getting the crowd to change their minds and find the real killer.
