Daisy, Tom, and Gatsby are filthy rich people. Daisy becomes infatuated with Gatsby despite her relationship with Tom...their relationship is already broken anyways since Tom has been cheating on Daisy with some chick named Myrtle. Nick(the narrator) is fascinated with Gatsby, but Nick plays hardly any noticable role in the story...he's more of an onlooker of all the rich-people drama. Gatsby and Daisy fall "in love" or perhaps they're just lustful for one another. Long story short, Daisy runs over Tom's lover Myrtle and kills her...and then a couple days later Gatsby dies in his fancy pool.

Based on Steve's actions in the first part of the teleplay, readers may have predicted that Steve would continue being the town'
nordsb [41]

Answer:

C). Readers should now predict that Steve will no longer be seen as the leader.

Explanation:

In part one of the teleplay, the readers would amend their prediction of Steve being the leader of the town throughout the blackout when Don interrogates Steve regarding the radio as they would not predict that he would not continue the leadership. They predict him to no longer be in charge as the neighbors now get to know that he is an alien and their faith in him is shattered completely. Thus, option C is the correct answer.
